Bead ‘flower’ pendant

The Flower That Smiles Today
– Percy Bysshe Shelley

The flower that smiles today
Tomorrow dies;
All that we wish to stay
Tempts and then flies;
What is this world’s delight?
Lightning, that mocks the night,
Brief even as bright.–
Virtue, how frail it is!–
Friendship, how rare!–
Love, how it sells poor bliss
For proud despair!
But these though they soon fall,
Survive their joy, and all
Which ours we call.–

Whilst skies are blue and bright,
Whilst flowers are gay,
Whilst eyes that change ere night
Make glad the day;

Whilst yet the calm hours creep,
Dream thou – and from thy sleep
Then wake to weep.

Lately, I have been much taken into poetry 🙂

The poet conveyed truly,

The flower that smiles today Tomorrow dies;

Nothing and nobody can last always – a grim thought though! specially in a gloomy chilly cloudy day! Let not the gloom prevail!
Let not the shadows conquer! The poet said again

Make glad the day;

To make the day better, I decided to whip up a flower pendant er… A bead ‘flower’ pendant. It’s simple! You will only need some eyelet pins, a few beads, jewelry wire and that’s it.

And it’s ready in a minute, I repeat, it’s simple, just a couple of minutes, a twist there and a twist here, it’s ready before you blink!

Enjoy your Sunday!
